You are angry

You are angry.  But these situations are not the cause of your anger; these situations are merely opportunities for you to practice anger.  But they don’t have to be; they can be opportunities to practice patience and kindness.

If you think of these uncomfortable circumstances as the cause of your unhappiness then you will be unhappy.  Conversely, if you think of  them as the opportunity to practice kindness and patience then you will do so, and you will no longer be a slave of circumstance. You will be an overcomer.
