“We Did It”

  1. Josh says:

Good to “hear” you, my friend.

Thanks for inviting us into your Easter celebration.

  2. Sandy says:

    Thank you, Tim.

  3. Matt says:

Thanks–feels like I went to church tonight.

  4. Jason says:

We listened to this recently–no, we’re not keeping up chronologically! What sticks with me is the converse of Paul’s statement, “If for this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied”: if I’m not to be most pitied, have I really embraced Christ’s resurrection?

  5. Tim says:

I wonder about that and Jesus saying, “Woe to you when all men speak well of you.” Or Paul: “All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.”

Most people are speaking fairly well of me, and I don’t feel particularly persecuted. Should the end of that syllogism then entail that I’m not serving Christ faithfully?
